This policy covers this website, axey.ltd, and nothing else. It is operated by Axey FZCO, Dubai Silicon Oasis A1, IFZA, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Our two products, EasyTap and nabera, are separate services with their own privacy policies. If you followed a link to easytap.co or nabera.app, this policy no longer applies — read theirs.
What this site collects
Server logs.
Our hosting provider records each request to the site: your IP address, the page requested, the time, your browser's user-agent string and the referring page. This happens automatically and is needed to run and secure the site. Logs are kept for 30 days and then deleted.
Analytics, only if you agree.
If you accept analytics in the banner shown on your first visit, we load Google Analytics, which sets cookies and records how the site is used — pages viewed, approximate location by country, device type, and where you arrived from. If you decline, no analytics script is loaded and no analytics cookies are set. You are not asked again unless you clear your browser storage.
We record your choice in your browser's local storage, not in a cookie. It never leaves your device and we cannot read it.
What you send us.
If you email mail@axey.ltd, or book a call, you give us whatever you choose to put in that message or booking.
Cookies
Without your consent, this site sets no cookies at all.
If you accept analytics, Google Analytics sets its own cookies to tell repeat visits apart. You can withdraw consent at any time by clearing your browser's storage for this site; you will then be asked again on your next visit.
Who else receives data
We do not sell data, do not share it with advertisers, and run no advertising on this site.
- DigitalOcean — hosting. Server logs sit on their infrastructure.
- Google (Google Analytics) — only if you accept analytics. Data is processed on Google's infrastructure, including in the United States.
- Calendly — only if you book a call. What you enter goes to Calendly under their own privacy policy.
- Our email provider — only if you write to us.
How long we keep things
- Server logs: 30 days.
- Analytics: for the retention period configured in Google Analytics.
- Email: correspondence is kept indefinitely, because we need the history of a working relationship. If you want your correspondence deleted, write to us and we will delete it.
- Bookings: held by Calendly under their terms, and in our calendar.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, ask for it to be deleted, or object to how we use it. Write to mail@axey.ltd and we will answer.
If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the GDPR gives you these rights, and you may also complain to your national data protection authority.
Axey FZCO is registered in the United Arab Emirates. Where UAE federal data protection legislation applies to us — principally Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data — you have comparable rights under it, and we will honour them on request regardless of which regime turns out to govern us.
Legal basis
Where the GDPR applies, we rely on: your consent for analytics; our legitimate interest in running and securing the site for server logs; and our legitimate interest in replying to you for email and bookings.
Changes
If this policy changes we will update the date at the top. There is no mailing list to notify, so the page is the record.
